Skills
3-5+ years of proven success in Outside Sales, preferably within the HVAC or industrial rental market
Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities
Mechanical aptitude and proficient problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written
Strong organization and follow-through skills
Proficient in Excel, Windows, Outlook, CRM systems, and other relevant software
Demonstrated leadership qualities and a goal-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets
Maintain and nurture existing relationships with clients
Conduct direct sales calls and presentations to targeted customer segments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends
Engage in ongoing product training and stay updated on industry developments
Willingness to spend 90%+ of time in the field engaging with clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings
Experience in commercial and/or industrial product sales, particularly within the HVAC rental industry
Knowledge of the construction contracting and engineering processes is a plus
Familiarity with Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is desirable
Education Requirements
