Territory Sales Manager
We are recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager (Ohio/Indiana/Michigan) to represent a full diamond jewelry line across established territories. These individuals will manage a strong base of wholesale accounts while expanding the brand's presence through new acquisition.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales & Account ManagementManage and grow an existing client base (approximately 75% of responsibilities)Develop new accounts through strategic outreach and relationship building (25%)Present and promote a premium diamond jewelry line across retail partnersServe as a knowledgeable and consultative partner to independent jewelersCollaborate with internal support teams for order fulfillment and client needsProvide insight into local market trends and customer preferencesTerritory DevelopmentManage your travel schedule and client visits independentlyLeverage existing relationships while introducing the brand to new partnersUtilize marketing assets, samples, and sales tools to drive engagement and conversionRepresent the brand professionally across in-store appointments and local eventsInternal CollaborationReceive backend support to identify prospective retailers in your territoryPartner with leadership on regional strategy and growth goalsAccess resources for account support, payments, logistics, and product researchIDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILEMinimum 3+ years of current territory sales experience in the fine jewelry industry (required)Proven background in natural diamond jewelry and gold linesDemonstrated success managing and growing a multi-state sales territoryStrong understanding of retail operations and independent jeweler dynamicsExperience carrying multiple non-conflicting lines is a plus (especially for 1099 candidates)Established retail relationships within the assigned territoryAffiliations with industry buying groups (e.g., IJO, RJO)Self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and communication skills1099 candidates must not represent or carry a competing diamond jewelry line within the territoryCOMPENSATION & STRUCTUREOpen to either W2 (salaried + commission) or 1099 (commission-only) structuresStrong preference for 1099 with flexibility to represent other non-competing jewelry linesCompensation structure will be based on experience and book of businessOTHER DETAILSRemote-based; candidates must reside within or near one of the assigned territoriesTravel expenses coveredOnboarding includes training and in-territory support from company leadershipWHY THIS ROLEThis is a compelling opportunity to represent a high-quality diamond jewelry line while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own business development strategy.
