If your skillset is aligned with what we’re looking for, the team will reach out to schedule your interview and tell you a bit more about us (ie. who we are).About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Technician to support Incoming, In-Process,and Outgoing Quality Control (IQC, IPQC, OQC) and play a key role in root cause analysis andcontinuous improvement as we scale our battery R&D and manufacturing operations.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the product, solving realproblems, and helping build practical quality systems that support fast-paced innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesIncoming Quality Control (IQC)Perform and lead receiving inspections for incoming materials and componentsReview Certificates of Analysis (COAs), lot traceability, and supplier documentationIdentify, document, and quarantine nonconforming incoming materialSupport material qualification, change-based inspections, and supplier issue investigationsImprove and standardize IQC procedures, checklists, and acceptance criteriaIn-Process Quality Control (IPQC)Perform in-process inspections to verify critical process and quality parametersMonitor adherence to process controls and work instructionsIdentify process deviations and escalate issues in real timeSupport root cause analysis for in-process defects and yield lossesWork with Manufacturing and R&D teams to implement corrective actionsOutgoing Quality Control (OQC)Perform final inspections on finished cells, components, or assemblies prior to releaseVerify compliance to defined specifications and release criteriaEnsure proper documentation, labeling, and traceability prior to shipment or internal releaseSupport disposition decisions for nonconforming finished goodsProblem Solving & Continuous ImprovementLead first-level root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone (4M), and data reviewSupport corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectivenessTrack recurring quality issues and recommend preventive improvementsCollaborate cross-functionally with Quality Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply ChainQualificationsStrong experience in IQC, IPQC, and/or OQC within a manufacturing or R&D environmentDemonstrated hands-on root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilityComfortable working in lab, dry room, or production environmentsHigh attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skillsExperience in battery, electrochemical, materials, or hardware manufacturing is a plusGrowth OpportunitiesThis Role Offers Clear Growth Opportunities, IncludingExpanded ownership of quality system development across IQC, IPQC, and OQCIncreased leadership in cross-functional RCA, CAPA, and process improvement effortsDeeper involvement in supplier quality and manufacturing readinessCareer progression toward Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Quality SystemsWe are an equal opportunity employer and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.
