A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - IMCJob Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM• 4x12 hour schedule format• Floating to other units required• Navy blue scrub color required• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required• Travel experience documented on resume required• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification• EPIC EMR experience required• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative cases• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems• Manage patients on chronic ventilators unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance• Treat adult patient population ages 18 and older• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteedFacility:This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive intermediate care unit providing specialized medical services for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and care than general medical floors.
