Corporateretreats, weddings, and celebrations flow naturally between cabins, dining spaces, lakeside terraces, outdoor gathering areas, trails, and wellness amenities throughout a stay.We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Lead to guide these gatherings from first inquiry through on-site execution. This role is suited for a hospitality professional with strong taste, creativity, and operational awarenesssomeone who can thoughtfully guide sophisticated clients while working closely with the entire campus team to deliver gatherings that feel seamless, natural, and quietly elevated.Core Event PillarsThe Event Sales Lead manages events across three primary categories.- Corporate Retreats- Multi-day off-site retreats that often include full property buyouts and coordinated programming across the campus.- Weddings- Seasonal weekend celebrations that include full property use and require comprehensive coordination across lodging, dining, and event spaces.- Private Celebrations - Smaller gatherings, such as milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and private dinners, require thoughtful planning and close collaboration with the culinary and service teams.Role OverviewThe Event Sales Lead manages the full event lifecyclefrom inquiry and proposal through planning and on-site coordinationensuring each gathering reflects the tone and hospitality standards of Prospect. Because many events include multi-day stays and full property use, the role works closely with multiple departments across the campus, including lodging, guest services, culinary, operations, and finance.The position combines sales leadership, creative collaboration, and on-site hospitality presence, helping ensure both clients and staff feel confident throughout the event process.Brand Stewardship & Guest ExperiencePROSPECT exists as a place to step awaywhere guests gather with colleagues, family, and friends to reconnect in a setting that feels natural, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. They expect an environment where hospitality feels effortless, and gatherings are thoughtfully composed.The Event Sales Lead helps uphold this tone by: Guiding clients toward gatherings that feel intentional rather than formulaic Working closely with the culinary team to craft seasonal menus and dining experiences Helping shape the ambiance and flow of gatherings across the campus Communicating with clarity, warmth, and confidence throughout the planning process Representing the Prospect brand with taste, discretion, and strong hospitality instinctsThe goal is not simply to execute events, but to create gatherings that feel grounded in Prospect's spirit.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Sales & Client Relationships Respond to event inquiries and guide prospective clients through the sales process Lead discovery conversations to understand the goals and vision of each gathering Present event proposals, pricing structures, and property buyout options Manage contracts in coordination with leadership and finance Serve as the primary client contact from booking through event completionEvent Planning & Coordination Translate signed agreements into clear event plans and timelines Coordinate closely with culinary, lodging, and operations teams Manage event timelines, guest counts, and property use Ensure alignment between client expectations and operational executionCampus-Wide CollaborationEvents at PROSPECT touch nearly every part of the property. The Event Sales Lead helps ensure that each department understands the event plan and how their role contributes to the guest experience.This includes coordination with: Front Desk & Guest Services guest arrivals, check-in coordination, and cabin assignments Bell / Grounds Team luggage assistance and guest orientation Food & Beverage menus, service style, and dining flow Housekeeping cabin readiness and turnover scheduling Operations & Facilities event setups across indoor and outdoor spaces Revenue Management & Lodging cabin pricing and accommodation coordination Finance contracts, deposits, and invoicingEvents at Prospect are a campus-wide collaboration, and this role helps ensure that the entire team is aligned in delivering the guest experience.On-Site Event Leadership Maintain a visible presence during key retreats and weddings Support communication across departments during events Monitor timelines and assist with adjustments when needed Help ensure the guest experience remains calm, organized, and welcoming Ideal Candidate.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hospitality event sales and understands how to guide complex, multi-day gatherings within a retreat environment. They are comfortable working with sophisticated clients while collaborating closely with operational teams.
