Systems Engineer

Hybrid - Local to D.C. metro areaPeriod of performance: Up to 2 years in durationMUST HAVES:Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer provisioning, installing, and supporting on-premise mission critical systemsMust have - Experience maintaining and managing a on-premise VMWare infrastructureMust have - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8s, Ubuntu, and CI/CD Automation• Must have - Experience working in a DevSecOps environment• Must have - Ability to work well on a team as well as individually• Must have - Can think out of the box to help with troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions that fit customers' needs• Must have - Can establish and maintain a high level of client trust and confidence with your skills• Must have - bachelor's degree• Must have - Active TS//SCI clearanceNICE TO HAVE:Nice to have - Experience in system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana, and Prometheus• Nice to have - Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)• Nice to have - Experience hardening and securing containers• Nice to have - Passion for learning new development concepts, methodologies, and technologies• Nice to have - Previous experience with commercial cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure)
