This is a full-time, on-site position that involves overseeing land surveying projects, managing field survey teams, and preparing comprehensive survey documents including final maps, parcel maps and legal descriptions. The role is a management role which includes overseeing the preperation of topographic surveys, building surveys, construction staking calcs and other related tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for preparing contract proposals for both mapping and survey staking, and overseeing survey project budgets. The Professional Land Surveyor will collaborate with project teams, utilize surveying tools like total stations, and contribute to delivering high-quality project outcomes.QualificationsProficiency in Topographic Surveys and Land SurveyingExperience with Total Station and Surveying equipmentFamiliarity with Building Surveying methodologiesCalifornia Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license requiredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with surveying software and toolsAbility to manage and lead field survey teamsExcellent communication skills and attention to detailExperience managing a survey department.Experience working in Southern California or similar regions is a plus
