Service EngineerDescriptionWe are seeking an innovative problem solver to join our Service Engineering team. The Service Engineer is responsible for global deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of service test stations and automated test solutions. This role partners closely with Service, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Metrology teams to support production, service operations, and New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant testing throughout the product lifecycle.If you are ready for the next step in your career, we have an exceptional opportunity for a Service Engineering Technician as part of the Service Support team.Key ResponsibilitiesService Test StationsDeploy, configure, and maintain service test stations worldwide, including PCs, test equipment, fixtures, and software.Ensure 24/7 operational readiness through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid issue resolution.Train service technicians and operators on test station use, troubleshooting, and best practices.Provide technical support for station, equipment, product, and operator-related issues.Manage spare parts, replacement equipment, and obsolescence planning in coordination with Service and Manufacturing.Test Code Development & MaintenanceDevelop, debug, validate, and maintain automated test code using LabVIEW and TestStand.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to implement test changes and release Test Change Notices (TCNs).Validate measurement accuracy, uncertainty, and repeatability in partnership with Metrology.Support new board and product testing through development and release of new test sequences.Ensure compliance with internal coding standards, documentation, and data reporting requirements.New Product Introduction (NPI)Support NPI by verifying test readiness, capacity planning, fixtures, equipment, and global station requirements.Partner with Service, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering to develop and validate service test methods.Provide training materials, documentation, and tools to enable successful product launches.Verify firmware, test code, and documentation accuracy prior to service release and sign-off.Collect and provide test data and feedback to drive product and test improvements.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport customer-reported issues through collaboration with Service and Manufacturing teams.Verify and approve test code and equipment changes prior to service deployment.Assist with ISO/IEC 17025-related audits and service readiness activities.Provide ongoing technical guidance to service depots and engineering stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience with automated test systems, LabVIEW, and TestStand.Strong understanding of electronic test equipment and communication protocols (GPIB, Ethernet, USB, RS-232).Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and systems.Strong collaboration, documentation, and training skills.Ralliant Corporation OverviewRalliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
