We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team in a long-term care facility. In this role, you'll support the Occupational Therapist (OTR) in delivering high-quality therapy services aimed at improving residents independence, mobility, and quality of life. Together, we work tirelessly to create meaningful change and lasting legacies. Required Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working in long-term care settings. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning. Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment use. Document residents progress and communicate updates to the care team to ensure continuity of care. Promote a safe and supportive environment while fostering meaningful relationships with residents.
