Associate Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC)

Company DescriptionHope Matters Institute (HMI) is a mental health practice built on a simple belief: healing is possible for clients, and for the clinicians who walk alongside them. We serve individuals, couples, and families across California, offering flexible scheduling and fully online sessions so that therapy can fit into real lives. Our team of licensed and associate therapists works across a wide range of specialties: individual therapy, child and adolescent therapy, family counseling, and marriage counseling and we support clients navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, grief and loss, trauma, and the everyday weight of being human. Here's what we think makes HMI different: we care just as much about how our clinicians feel showing up to work as we do about the care they provide. Our supervisors are warm, experienced, and genuinely invested in your growth-not just as a clinician earning hours, but as a whole person. Our team is friendly, easy to talk to, and really fun to be around. We laugh together. We support each other. We don't do isolating-remote-work energy here.Role DescriptionWe're looking for an Associate-Level Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, or APCC) to join our team on a full-time or part-time remote basis. You'll provide individual, family, and couples therapy via telehealth, supported by a practice that's set up to actually take care of you while you take care of others. One thing to know up front: we move fast. Most new clinicians are fully ramped to a complete caseload within one to two months of joining. That means we need someone who's confident in their clinical skills, comfortable working independently, and ready to step in and carry real work from the start- with all of us in your corner.Caseload structure:Full-time: 30+ client hours per weekPart-time: 20+ client hours per weekWithin those caseload expectations, you have real flexibility in how you build your week- mornings, evenings, four-day stretches, whatever lets you stay sustainable in this work over the long haul.If you've been hoping to find a practice that takes supervision seriously, treats you like a colleague rather than a number, and actually wants you to enjoy your job, this might be the place. What We OfferCompensation: $30–$45 per billable session hour, depending on experience401(k) — start building toward your future from day oneWeekly individual supervision AND weekly group supervision — plus more supervision any time you want it.
