Network ArchitectLocation- RemoteThe Network Architect is responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, and implementation of enterprise and transformational network solutions. This role serves as a technical authority and trusted customer advisor, leading network modernization initiatives across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.The Network Architect drives large-scale network transformation programs, including SD-WAN adoption, hybrid cloud connectivity, security integration, and next-generation enterprise networking, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Strategy & ArchitectureDefine and own enterprise network architecture standards, blueprints, and roadmapsTranslate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient network designsLead network modernization initiatives, including legacy network transformationEnsure architectural alignment with cloud, security, and enterprise IT strategiesSolution Design & ImplementationDesign and implement end-to-end network solutions across:Campus, WAN, and data center networksSD-WAN and SASE architecturesHybrid and multi-cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)Oversee proof-of-concepts (PoCs), pilots, and full-scale deploymentsProvide technical leadership during implementation and migration activitiesValidate designs for performance, availability, security, and operational readinessSecurity & IntegrationIntegrate network and security architectures, including:Zero Trust networking principlesFirewalls, secure gateways, and network segmentationIdentity-based access and policy enforcementCollaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standardsCustomer & Stakeholder EngagementAct as a customer-facing technical advisor and subject matter expertLead architecture discussions with customers, executives, and senior IT stakeholdersPresent and defend technical designs, trade-offs, and transformation strategiesSupport pre-sales and solution workshops as neededGovernance & Technical LeadershipEstablish and enforce network architecture best practices and design governanceReview and approve network designs created by engineering teamsMentor network engineers and junior architectsStay current with emerging networking and cloud technologiesRequired Skills & ExperienceTechnical ExpertiseDeep expertise in enterprise networking (routing, switching, WAN, LAN, data center)Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologiesExperience designing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud network architecturesSolid understanding of network security architecture and integrationProficiency with network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSec, VPNs)Experience with high-availability, disaster recovery, and large-scale networksProfessional Experience10+ years of experience in network engineering and architectureProven track record delivering large-scale network transformation programsExperience working in complex enterprise or service provider environmentsStrong documentation, design, and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Azure, AWS, or GCP networking servicesFamiliarity with SASE and Zero Trust architecturesRelevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, Azure/AWS Networking, TOGAF)Experience supporting regulated or security-sensitive environmentsKey CompetenciesStrategic and systems-level thinkingStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to balance technical depth with business outcomesLeadership mindset with a consultative approachSuccess MeasuresSuccessful delivery of network transformation initiativesAdoption of modern, scalable, and secure network architecturesPositive customer and stakeholder feedback
