Position starts at $24.00 per hour.Benefits IncludePaid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) planBetter Futures ProgramCareer development opportunities Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnter all QA and food safety data intocorporate drives andinternal spreadsheets dailySend QA & food safety reports to internal team and corporate teamReport FSIS Non-compliancePresent HACCP/SSOP information to customers and USDA as neededFile and maintain QA and food safety documentsPrint labels for operations as needed and send label proofs to corporateEnter all quality control hold tags into the databaseHelp QA techs by fillingin on production floor as neededAnswer phone calls and take messages for all QA linesSubmit micro samples to labGather tare weight information and set codes up in Shop Floor SoftwareBRC Compliance auditing and preparationE-mail certificates of analysis to customersPerform video auditingand annual HACCP/SSOP program updatesReviewQA paperwork for accuracydaily as well as previous day’s documents, following up with supervisors as necessaryOther duties assignedSkillsExperience working in food industry with HACCP, SSOP, USDA regulations and GMP requirementsPrevious clerical experience preferredAbove average computer/ten key skillsMicrosoft officeStrong communication skills.QualificationsAuthorized to work in the USHigh school diploma or equivalent18 years of age or moreAble to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as neededWork EnvironmentThe work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced setting, and exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives.
