You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Property Managers to make sure capital improvements and larger unit turns go smoothly, stay on budget, and meet our standards. This role is ideal for someone who knows their way around tools, can take the lead on big unit turns and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get a job done right. We embrace technology to streamline operations, so if you’re comfortable using maintenance software, digital tools, and apps to track work orders, manage schedules, and boost efficiency, you’ll thrive in this role.Your day-to-day will include:Establish and execute the scope of work for larger unit turns in coordination with the Project ManagerTackling large scale unit turns over $5,000 (we’re talking full refreshes, not just touch-ups)Work with your team to complete capital improvement projects, while leaning on vendors as needed. Ensure capital projects are completed in a timely manner, adhere to the budget, and align with owner and company expectations and standardsTroubleshooting more advanced maintenance issues and lending a hand when techs need backupKeeping things organized with solid documentation and communicationWhat We’re Looking For:Solid experience in maintenance and renovationsExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.A tech-savvy mindset – you should be comfortable with maintenance software, scheduling tools, and digital communication platforms.Background check requiredA valid driver’s licensePhysical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbsFrequent bending, kneeling, and squattingAbility to climb ladders and work at varying heights safelyVisual acuity to inspect work and identify issuesCognitive Requirements:Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety proceduresStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsCapacity to work independently and make sound decisions on the jobComfortable using technology, including mobile apps, software, and tools to track work and communicateHours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a rotating on call schedulePay: Hourly- $25-$28+ an hour (depending on experience), on call bonusAfter just 60 days of employment, you get access to all these amazing benefits:Healthy Insurance: (80-85% employee coverage) If you already have coverage through a spouse- don't worry we've got something for you too! $3,000 on a HRA card to help take care of some of your deductiblePaid time off (10 days + 8 paid holidays per year) Additional PTO will accrue as your years of service growLong & short-term disability coverageUp to a 4% 401k match (We’ve got your future covered!)$25,000 Life Insurance policyVision & dental coverage (through VSP & Northeast Delta Dental) – it’s all affordable with pre-tax payroll deductionsPet insurance (because your furry friend deserves care too!) pre-tax payroll deductionCompany vehicle immediately$300 tool allowance to be used on whatever tools you need for your toolboxWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate diversity.
