Tax Coordinator
A growing, relationship-driven wealth management and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Coordinator to support its internal tax function and help deliver a high-touch client experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, client interaction, and keeping complex processes moving efficiently in a collaborative, professional environment.This is not a traditional public accounting firm environment or a high-volume tax shop. The tax team works closely with wealth advisors and clients to provide thoughtful, personalized support as part of a broader financial planning relationship.Position OverviewThe Tax Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination for the tax team, helping manage client communications, document collection, workflow tracking, scheduling, and administrative support throughout the tax process. This person will play a key role in ensuring an organized and seamless experience for both clients and internal stakeholders.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working directly with clients in a polished, service-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage the flow of tax documents, organizers, and client informationServe as a primary point of contact for client scheduling, follow-up, and communicationTrack tax return statuses, deadlines, and workflow progress across the teamAssist with gathering, organizing, and reviewing incoming documentation for completenessMaintain accurate client records and documentation within internal systems; experience with Quickbooks is a plusSupport tax professionals and wealth advisors with administrative and operational needsHelp ensure a smooth and high-quality client experience throughout tax season and beyondCoordinate meetings, reminders, signatures, and deliverablesAssist with process improvements and overall team organizationQualificationsPrior experience supporting a tax, accounting, financial services, or professional services team preferredStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and follow-throughComfortable interacting directly with clients and senior professionalsAbility to manage deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and client management/workflow systemsProfessional, collaborative, and service-oriented mindset
