Position Type:Support StaffDate Posted:11/14/2025Location:Dunlap Valley Middle SchoolDate Available:11/24/2025Closing Date:Open Until Filled$15/hr, One hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoonReports to: Building Administrator Position Objective: Controls traffic at crossing points for school children in pedestrian lanes; assists and protects children while they cross the street.Essential FunctionsUses STOP sign, stops traffic and escorts or supervises children crossing streets at intersectionsMaintains surveillance of children walking or playing near street and warns them when necessaryReports accidents or unusual traffic incidents to school authorities or policeAssists children who are lost, injured or in need of assistanceIs aware of and enforces school safety standards at all timesMaintains satisfactory attendance, as defined in District policy and regulationsAdditional FunctionsOther duties as assignedQualifications Must be 21 years of ageCompetenciesExcellent interpersonal communication skills.
