This role will focus on HVAC systems, piping, hydronic systems, facility infrastructure, and equipment installation support. The ideal candidate will have experience with engineering documentation, P&IDs, facility systems, and working within multidisciplinary project teams.Key Responsibilities• Support mechanical engineering design for facility upgrades, plant improvements, and equipment installations.• Assist with the design and layout of HVAC systems, utility piping, hydronic systems, and related mechanical infrastructure.• Prepare and update P&IDs, design drawings, equipment layouts, and engineering documentation.• Coordinate with operations, facilities, process, electrical, and project teams to support project execution.• Support installation, startup, and integration of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.• Participate in design reviews, construction coordination, field troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reliability.• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project objectives.Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.• 1–5 years of mechanical engineering experience.• Experience with HVAC systems, piping, hydronic systems, or mechanical facility infrastructure.• Familiarity with P&IDs, engineering drawings, and mechanical design documentation.• Experience supporting facility upgrades, plant modifications, or equipment installations.• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.Preferred Qualifications• EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure.• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software.• Experience supporting construction, installation, startup, or commissioning activities.• Exposure to manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or other complex facility environments.• Knowledge of facility utility systems and mechanical infrastructure.
