This role owns projects from concept through launch, driving capacity expansion, automation, new product introduction, and process improvements that directly impact safety, quality, cost, and delivery.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments, enjoys being on the plant floor, and takes pride in delivering real, measurable results.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ExecutionLead complex, cross-functional engineering projects with full ownership of scope, schedule, cost, and outcomesDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategiesDrive execution from feasibility through installation, commissioning, and production ramp-upManufacturing & Engineering InitiativesSupport capacity expansion, automation, equipment installation, and process optimizationLead plant expansions, new site launches, and line transfersDesign and implement efficient layouts and scalable manufacturing processesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance to deliver resultsTranslate strategic goals into actionable project plans aligned with plant operationsProvide hands-on leadership during critical execution phasesContinuous ImprovementApply Lean and continuous improvement principles to increase throughput and efficiencyStandardize best practices across sites to improve repeatability and performanceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)8+ years leading engineering or manufacturing projects in industrial environmentsProven experience with capital projects, automation, and production ramp-upsStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facility layoutsExperience working across multiple sites and leading cross-functional teamsBackground in fabricated products, fenestration, or similar industries is a plusPMP, Lean, or Six Sigma experience preferredWork Environment & TravelPrimarily onsite in a manufacturing setting with regular plant floor involvementTravel required based on project needs (20%)Why This RoleDirect impact on manufacturing growth and operational performanceHigh-visibility role with ownership of major initiativesOpportunity to work on complex, hands-on projects across multiple locations
