In this role, you will execute application, system, and integration testing to ensure mission systems meet performance, reliability, and quality standards in support of timely and accurate GEOINT delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency systemsExecute application and API testing within DevOps pipelines, leveraging established QA standards and industry best practicesConduct independent integration testing of software and hardware to validate compliance with system requirementsDevelop, execute, and maintain manual test cases and automated test scriptsSupport defect identification, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during test cyclesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and DevOps environmentsLocation: This opportunity is fully onsite in either Chantilly or Springfield, VAQualificationsPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related STEM fieldAdditional experience may be substituted: 4 years in lieu of degree, or 2 years with a non-STEM degree6+ years of experience supporting testing and/or systems integration within large, complex systems-of-systems or service-oriented architecture environmentsExperience testing across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infrastructuresHands-on experience with test management and defect tracking toolsFamiliarity with Agile, DevOps, and traditional development and testing methodologiesPrevious program or project experience with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) or within the NSG/ASG environmentActive TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraphDesired QualificationsMaster's degree in a relevant STEM disciplineExperience with tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub/GitLab (or similar)Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash) and data formats (JSON, XML, SQL)Experience working in AWS, C2S, or other cloud environmentsFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and software development frameworksDetailsTarget Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
