Environmental and Social Consultant

A company is looking for an Environmental & Social Impact Assessment Specialist - Latin America Consultant. Key Responsibilities Conduct environmental and social assessments and monitoring for development finance projects in Latin America Coordinate with E&S Divisions to ensure compliance with environmental and social performance standards Perform site visits for due diligence and prepare reports on findings related to environmental and social compliance Required Qualifications Technical expertise in environmental science, geology, sociology, anthropology, or related disciplines Minimum of five years of experience in conducting or reviewing environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs) Experience applying the IFC Performance Standards Fluency in Spanish and English, with at least five years of experience working with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in Latin America Knowledge of international and U.S. Government policies, laws, and standards related to environmental and social impact assessment
