Join Our Team in Grand Rapids, MI!We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician/Analyst to oversee environmental compliance and construction at coal combustion residuals (CCR) landfills across Michigan. Be part of a team that ensures the safety and compliance of our landfills located near Muskegon, Holland, Bay City, and Monroe, MI. With two active landfills and others in a post-closure monitoring phase, your role is crucial in maintaining environmental standards.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee and ensure compliance obligations related to maintenance, monitoring, inspections, surveying, and engineering support.Develop and maintain records and support report development.Oversee closure work and new cell construction at active landfills, reporting progress to the Landfill Program Manager.Assist in quality assurance by auditing third-party Engineer activities, including inspections, surveying, sampling, and testing. RequirementsHigh School diploma.Fundamental knowledge of State of Michigan Part 115 landfill regulations and general landfill operation, construction, and maintenance.Ability to read and interpret civil and environmental drawings and related construction documents.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities daily.
