And we've also earned multiple Culture Excellence Awards and national recognition badges for innovation, leadership and employee appreciation!What We're Looking For:Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School PsychologyAbility to work in personProficiency in connecting with students and families, working alongside school teamsEagerness to learn, grow, and continuously develop their professional expertiseWhat Youâll Be Doing:Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students in accordance with California Department of Education and Federal guidelines.Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports of assessment findings with diagnoses and specific recommendations, in accordance with State and Federal guidelines.Certify pupilsâ eligibility for placement in special education services, programs or classes in accordance with their individual physical, mental and emotional needs.Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, following due process timelines.Provide counseling services to students, as needed.Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, students, school-based personnel and SPG staff on matters pertaining to special education procedures and guidelines, mental health issues, child development, student behavior, learning problems and relevant intervention strategies and recommendations.Benefits Include:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits for employees working 30 hours or more per week, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with company matchingProfessional Benefit stipendStudent Loan Pay Down ProgramReferral Program!
