Classes are held on weekend mornings and typically run 2-3 hours per session. This is an ongoing part-time role with recurring sessions throughout the year - specific schedules and locations vary by session.ResponsibilitiesDeliver structured co-ed sports programming following B.E.S.T. curriculum guidelinesManage and engage small groups of toddlers and young children in a safe, positive environmentFoster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for all participants regardless of genderArrive on time, prepared, and ready to be physically active for the duration of classTransport and set up equipment as needed (up to 40 lbs)What we're looking forExperience working with very young children (ages 2-5) - coaching, teaching, childcare, camp, etc.Comfortable coaching co-ed groups with an inclusive, encouraging approachStrong communication and group management skillsDependable, punctual, and team-orientedComfortable working outdoors in varying conditionsAbility to travel between locations based on scheduling needsBaseball or softball background helpful, not required$18/hour • Weekend mornings • Co-ed program • Ongoing role • New sessions added throughout the yearRequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and instruct sports classes, camps, and/or clinics for children ages 18 months to 12 years.Implement and follow B.E.S.T. lesson plans and coaching techniques.Maintain a fun, positive, and supportive learning environment.Ensure the safety and supervision of all participants at all times.Set up, organize, and break down equipment as needed before and after classes.Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, teammates, and supervisors.Complete required class check-ins, reporting, and attendance tracking.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Represent B.E.S.T. values and uphold a high standard of customer service.Salary Description
