*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and will have a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and support. *Duties* * Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed. * Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. * Take accurate orders from customers using the OpenTable system or similar platforms. * Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. * Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. * Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to ensure satisfaction. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service hours. * Assist with training new staff members as required. *Skills* * Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. * Excellent time management abilities to efficiently manage multiple tables during busy shifts. * Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. * Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities. * Familiarity with the food industry, including knowledge of menu items and dietary restrictions. * Sales experience is a plus, particularly in a restaurant or hospitality setting. * Proficiency in using guest services software like OpenTable is preferred but not required. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
