Its products are extensive and include confectionery, dairy, baby food, infant formula, sports nutritional, health and beauty items, as well as pharmaceuticals.Meiji America Inc., founded in 2011, as the United States division distributes Meiji branded confections as well as Stauffer's branded cookies and crackers in the US market.Meiji manufactures and distributes a variety of unique confectionery and snack products including HELLO PANDATM, YAN YANTM and CHOCOROOMS.ABOUT THE ROLEThe primary function of a Bagger Operator is to operate the machine safely and efficiently to ensure that all products specifications are met.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Works well with others, fostering a team atmosphere.Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.Meet all GMP requirements.Make sure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Communicate changes to the next shift.Check product specifications frequently to ensure a good product.Monitor the equipment for any maintenance related items that may affect the efficient production of quality products and take action to resolve the issue. Report any operational issues to supervision.Operate the assigned line with constant attention to product quality, waste reduction and minimal downtime.Disassembly, cleaning, and/or reassembly of equipment is required for changes.Assist or supervise the training of new employees.Assist with changeovers, machine set up and cleaning.Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.Ability to read and record written product specifications.Ability to work independently.Notify supervision about any problems.You must adhere to/comply with Company policies, procedures, and practices.All other duties assigned to it.ACCOUNTABILITYA Bagger Operator will be responsible to the Production Supervisor for the fulfillment of his or her duties. The performance of a machine operator will be measured according to the degree of his production levels and the quality of the work performed in these assigned areas. EXPERIENCESome manufacturing experience in a food plant helpful.EDUCATIONHigh school or equivalent.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the essential duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 50lbs and shared weight up to 100lbs. Occasional exposure to airborne dust, high humidity and extremes of hot and cold are possible.
