HR Operations Specialist

Objective The HR Operations Specialist will oversee the Human Resource function at a production facility, which includes planning, directing, and providing HR guidance to plant operations leadership, supervisory staff, and employees. This will include employment policies, compensation, training, labor relations, employee relations, and communications. Main Responsibilities Interprets the labor agreement and provide guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees on performance/disciplinary issues. Assists employees on resolving work related concerns. Supports Operations Managers on initiatives to improve employee relations, work environment, training, onboarding, recruitment, administrative processes and safety. Provides training to Supervisors and Employees on new policies and initiatives. Ensures employment related decisions are in compliance with company policies, State and Federal laws. Researches industry trends and provides recommendations to ensure company is using best practices. Work as a partner with the HR Operations to ensure consistency in policies and initiatives. Position Requirements Bachelors Degree; Preferably in HR 4-7 years’ Human resources generalist in a manufacturing or technical environment experience preferred Previous Technical Recruitment Experience preferred Organizational development experience including performance management, compensation, succession planning and job profiles Experience in manufacturing/hourly workforce setting Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
