The Sample Log-In role involves receiving, verifying, and cataloging samples submitted to the laboratory. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, sample labeling, and ensuring chain-of-custody documentation is maintained. The role will also include communicating with clients regarding sample status and handling inquiries, as well as assisting the laboratory team with the organization of received samples and maintaining an orderly workspace.QualificationsStrong organizational and data entry skills to manage sample tracking and documentationAttention to detail and accuracy in labeling and maintaining chain-of-custody recordsEffective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal reportingProficiency with basic computer applications, including data management systemsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and follow established proceduresBackground in laboratory practices or a similar regulated environment is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
