Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Job Description Responsibilities Inspect the vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspect the vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.), aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks) Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Keep logs of work and issues using simple computer programs Maintain equipment and tools in good conditionRequirements and skills Proven experience as an automotive mechanic/technician Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift) Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc. High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred Valid certification (e.g., ASE) is a definite plus Own tools at the experience level is a must 10+ years of experience or moreBenefits Summer and winter bonusesA travel allowance Once or twice a month, launch for the shop Flexibility with working hoursPaid time off Future health benefits and moreCompany DescriptionFounded in 2022, we might be the new kids on the block, but our team brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for cars that's hard to match.
