We take a holistic approach to the work we do with residents and focus on the health and wellness and believe in the autonomy of our residents, building a community, and providing strength-based approach for managing mental health challenges. The Medical Admin is a part of the medical and integrative health teams and administers medications, supports the nursing staff by passing scheduled and PRN medications, managing physical health concerns, and providing assistance with tasks in the nursing office.Location: Asheville, NCSchedule: Monday – Thursday 10:30 pm – 8 amBenefitsPTO/Sick Time starting first dayMedical/Dental/Vision BenefitsCompany Funded Life InsuranceRetirement Plan with company matchFree Meals on shiftSalary: Starting at $19.00/hr and increases based on experienceResponsibilitiesObserves supervised self-administration of routine medications, administration of PRN medications, and assists with medication lockbox checksLeads admin/office work including, but not limited to: filing and uploading of records, processing faxes, keeping supplies stocked, running reports, organizing paperwork and appointments for the day shift, and maintaining the cleanliness of the nursing officeAssists with UDS collection, lab preparation, blood draws, and takes vital signs as neededResponds to medical emergencies and provides first aid as neededCompletes timely documentationSupports the residential overnight staff with residents and resident situations as neededQualificationsMed tech, medical assistant, CAN, medical secretarial experience, nursing student, pharmacy student or similar experience requiredExperience administering medication in a setting with adults Experience working with adults with significant mental health challenges preferredCooperRiis is an equal opportunity employer.
