Position: Cloud ArchitectExperience: 12+ yearsWe are seeking an elite, hands-on Principal Cloud Architect with over 12 years of enterprise IT experience to drive the strategy, design, and execution of our next-generation cloud infrastructure. This is a high-impact contract position focusing on large-scale migrations, multi-cloud governance, and building resilient, automated environments. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of architecting cloud solutions for Fortune 500 or high-growth enterprise environments in the US market.Core ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Strategy: Define, design, and execute comprehensive enterprise cloud strategies across AWS, Azure, or GCP (Multi-cloud/Hybrid environments).Migration Execution: Lead complex, large-scale data center-to-cloud migrations (Lift-and-Shift, Re-platforming, and Refactoring).Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and enforce scalable IaC pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to achieve 100% automated deployments.Security & Governance: Architect robust cloud security frameworks (IAM, Zero-Trust, Network Security, Compliance standard guardrails like SOC2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS).FinOps & Cost Optimization: Audit existing enterprise cloud footprints to engineer high-performance frameworks while drastically optimizing monthly cloud spend.Collaboration: Act as the primary technical authority, aligning business stakeholders, security teams, and engineering squads.Required Technical Skillset & QualificationsExperience Threshold: 12+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 6+ years serving as a dedicated Cloud Architect in the US market.Cloud Platforms: Expert-level mastery in at least one major provider (AWS or Azure preferred; multi-cloud experience is a massive plus).Containerization & Orchestration: Deep production experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and Service Meshes.CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on mastery of enterprise deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) integrated with security scanning.Data & Analytics Integration: Solid understanding of cloud data architectures (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift).Preferred Professional CertificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect – ProfessionalMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertGoogle Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect
