Title: Scientist - Protein CharacterizationDuration: 24+ months contractLocation: Cambridge, MA 02139Pay range: $43 -$46/hr.Shift: Standard Business HoursPosition Summary:• Contribute to the selection of high-quality biotherapeutic candidates through physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessments.• Perform biophysical and analytical characterization of protein therapeutics using established methods.• Support early discovery programs by generating and interpreting data to inform candidate selection.• Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for scientific growth and technical development.Responsibilities• Independently perform physicochemical, thermal, and colloidal stability assessment of biotherapeutic candidates using established assays.• Critically analyze and interpret experimental data to support selection of lead biotherapeutic molecules.• Contribute to improvement activities to increase efficiency and throughput within the group.• Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and analyses in electronic notebook.QualificationsEducation:• BA/BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience in biochemistry, biophysics, or related disciplineExperience:• Experience in protein biochemistry and stability assessment• Familiarity with protein characterization and analytical biochemistry techniques such as aSEC, DSC, CGE, cIEF, and DLS• Prior experience in therapeutic protein discovery and biochemistry research preferred• Experience with automation preferredSkills:• Strong understanding of protein biochemistry and stability• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset• Ability to multitask efficiently• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills• Experience working with electronic lab notebooksSatish PathakPharma Recruiter(201) 351 8762 |
