Experience providing field oversight of remedial action construction activities, including maintaining detailed logs, performing QA/QC, ensuring compliance with site-specific health and safety plans and applicable regulations, and contributing to long-term environmental restoration goals. Strong team player.Core Responsibilities / CompetenciesProvide field oversight of remedial action construction activities, including observation and documentation of work performed by contractors.Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of field activities and associated documentation.Assist in monitoring compliance with approved health and safety plans (e.g., HASP).Maintain detailed field logs and documentation, including daily observations, stakeholder interactions, results of field testing, and conformance with approved project plans (e.g., RAWP, QAPP, HASP).Document and communicate deviations from approved plans, including supporting records such as field notebooks, logs, photographs, and/or videography, as appropriate.Perform additional remedial action oversight and technical support activities.Here's what you'll needJob QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or closely related field.Valid drivers license is required.United States Citizenship required.40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification.Ideally you'll also haveOSHA 10-Hour Construction SafetyCPR/First Aid CertifiedExperience conducting environmental monitoring and Sampling Experience (groundwater, soil, and/or sediment)Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal.QA/QC Oversight and DocumentationMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong attention to detail when conducting field work and evaluating data.
