Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for Security Officers located in Portland, OR. Security Officers are responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting patrols. Duties include maintaining safety and order, reporting incidents, and responding promptly to emergencies. Officers will document activities and incidents, collaborate with colleagues and clients, and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols. Qualifications Knowledge of security procedures, practices, and protocolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and the publicAttention to detail and the ability to observe and accurately report incidentsPhysical fitness and stamina for patrolling premises and performing related dutiesValid security license and/or certifications (both armed and unarmed)Familiarity with safety regulations and emergency response practicesAbility to maintain professionalism and discretion in sensitive situationsExperience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security is advantageous
