We are hiring an IT Administrator to provide dedicated technology support to Rooted Life, a healthcare organization based in San Diego, CA.This is a remote, full-time position. You will serve as the primary IT resource ensuring Rooted Life's staff has reliable, secure access to the platforms and systems they need to operate effectively and serve their clients.Key ResponsibilitiesGoogle Workspace AdministrationManage user accounts, groups, and organizational unitsConfigure and maintain Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, and related servicesEnforce security policies, manage access controls, and monitor for complianceSupport onboarding and offboarding of staff accountsZoom Platform AdministrationManage Zoom accounts, licenses, and settingsConfigure and troubleshoot Zoom Meetings, Webinars, and Phone as applicableSupport staff with Zoom best practices and usage issuesEHR System AdministrationServe as system administrator for the organization's Electronic Health Records (EHR) platformManage user access, roles, and permissions within the EHR systemCoordinate with the EHR vendor on system updates, issues, and enhancementsSupport clinical and administrative staff with EHR-related questions and troubleshootingBilling Platforms & Payer PortalsAdminister access to billing platforms and payer portals used for healthcare reimbursementCoordinate user setup, credentialing access, and troubleshooting across payer systemsMaintain accurate records of platform credentials and access permissionsLiaise with billing staff and external vendors to resolve system access issues promptlyGeneral IT Support & SecurityServe as the first point of contact for IT support requests from staffMaintain documentation for system configurations, access controls, and proceduresEnsure all platforms meet HIPAA compliance and data security requirementsProactively identify and address technology issues before they impact operationsQualificationsRequired3+ years of experience in an IT administrator or systems administrator roleHands-on experience administering Google WorkspaceExperience administering Zoom at an organizational or enterprise levelDemonstrated experience with EHR systems in a healthcare settingFamiliarity with healthcare billing platforms and payer portal managementWorking knowledge of HIPAA requirements and healthcare data security practicesStrong communication skills; ability to support non-technical users clearly and patientlyHighly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities remotelyPreferredGoogle Workspace Administrator certificationExperience supporting behavioral health, mental health, or outpatient healthcare organizationsFamiliarity with common EHR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth, SimplePractice, Kareo, or similar)Prior experience in a fractional or multi-client support environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare and housing services environment supporting staff who work directly with vulnerable populations.100% remoteFull-time positionEmployed by ScaleNP; dedicated support provided to Rooted Life (San Diego, CA)Must be available during core Pacific Time business hoursWhy Join Rooted LifeAt Rooted Life, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team working at the forefront of whole-person care.
