Vice President, Property Tax Compliance
Property Tax Vice PresidentOur Property Tax Vice President will manage a team of property tax compliance professionals at the Manager, Senior Associate, and Analyst levels who are responsible for the preparation and filing of state and local property tax returns, reviewing assessment notices, and procuring, approving, and processing property tax bills.Day-to-day responsibilities:Collaborating with Property Tax Compliance Directors and Lead Vice Presidents to assist in establishing operational objectives and work plans to ensure the compliance functions that occur over the tax year calendar are completed on a timely basisOverseeing, coordinating, and managing the work of Managers, Senior Associates, and Analysts to ensure the timely delivery of client service and meeting of deadlinesAssisting in preparing and filing property tax returns, gathering and reviewing assessment notices, and procuring, approving, and processing of property tax billsInterfacing with client contacts and communicating progress of deliverablesMentoring and supervising team members on processes, analyses, reports, and deliverablesEnsuring property tax compliance work plans are followed timely and professionallyAssisting in the development, maintenance, and in the assessment of the overall and individual goals of compliance team membersEnsuring property tax compliance team provides superb customer services to our clientsEssential traits:Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of property tax related experienceMinimum 8 years of relevant property tax compliance experience, including leasing property tax compliance experienceFamiliarity with property compliance software programs, with an emphasis on PowerPlan software/system experience and familiaritySound knowledge of property tax filing requirements and procedures of various state and local jurisdictionsExcellent project management and presentation skills, including superior verbal and written communication skillsExtensive experience in the use of Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience leading a team of professionalsExcellent relationship management skills and an entrepreneurial spiritYour recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident protection.Compensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
