Temporary Full-Time Lecturer (OYA) in HaBS (HealthServices Technology (BAT) & Medical Terminology) 2026-2027

Ability to teach health services and medical terminology coursework in the on-line setting, availability for UTRGV required training for on-line teaching and ability to hold on-line office hours/provide student support is required.UTRGV faculty will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and to advancing the university, college, and program missions, as well as a commitment to UTRGV's strategic plan, vision, mission, values and core priorities. A master's degree in another health field/profession appropriate for course subject matter may be considered. Applicants with a master's degree must have, with 3 years' work experience or 1 peer reviewed, scholarly publication in the field. A minimum of one-year online teaching experience. APPQMR Certification.Discipline Specific Required QualificationsN/APreferred QualificationExcellent written and oral communications skills, technology skills are required.Experience teaching in public health, health science professions/disciplines, healthcare informatics or healthcare administration preferred. Two years' experience in on-line or face-to-face teaching is preferred.
