JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in Alaska is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join our established group. This is a full-time position in an outpatient primary care setting. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits offered. HOSPITAL:This hospital opened in January 2006, replacing the original that opened its doors in the 1930s. The new hospital is a state-of-the-art acute care hospital with an ICU, Emergency Department, birthing center, cardiac cath lab, well-equipped and fully digital OR with 4 rooms including daVinci and Hana modalities, an outpatient surgery center, and three outpatient centers. The medical center has about 100 physicians on active medical staff and a total medical staff of almost 200 physicians. We have a robust Hospitalist and an Intensivist program.
