If interested, there is an opportunity to work 3 out of 4 weekends a month to allow for one weekend off a month.This is an opportunity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and gain experience working with teens with acute mental health and substance abuse issues. Many of our past nurses have found that this experience was helpful in pursuing an RN degree.Essential Functions:Provide first aid and nursing care as neededSupervise and ensure the safety of all clients in careEnsure needs and services for each client are being implementedEnsure all records are up to dateComplete and record daily vitals and weekly weightPrepare and administer medication daily; do medical inventory as neededHandle health emergencies appropriatelyThis is a part time, onsite position. Must be open to commuting to all our locations - La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas.Payrate: $33-37/hourRequirements: Valid LVN/LPT licenseProficient in PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to multi-task and collaborate productively with other team membersMust be punctualHave a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clientsExperience with EMR is a plusMust be at least 21 years of age or olderMust have a valid DL and reliable transportationMust have a clean record and can clear a CA Live Scan background checkBenefits Paid Time Off - We understand a healthy work/life balance is crucial for our success, so we maintain a flexible Paid Time Off policy.
