Childcare Worker

Duties
Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning
Provide attentive toddler care, infant care, and preschool support to meet each child's individual needs
Use behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills
Administer basic first aid when necessary, following safety protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns
Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care that fosters independence
Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety standards in daycare or classroom settings
Qualifications
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs or disabilities is a plus
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children
Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing atmosphere
Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
