Title Processor
The Title Processor is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing real estate title documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role supports smooth and timely real estate closings by coordinating with lenders, agents, attorneys, and internal team members to resolve title issues and facilitate the issuance of title insurance policies. Key Responsibilities Examine and verify title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, tax records, and legal descriptions. Prepare title commitments and related documentation in accordance with company and underwriting standards. Identify and resolve title issues, including clouds on title, discrepancies, outstanding liens, and missing information. Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and attorneys to gather required documents and ensure accuracy. Order and track payoffs, surveys, HOA estoppels, tax certificates, and other necessary items for closing. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing title and real estate transactions. Maintain accurate and organized transaction files within company systems. Assist in preparing closing packages and final policies as needed. Provide excellent customer service, updating all parties on file status and requirements. QualificationsExperience in title processing, escrow, real estate, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of title documents, title insurance, and real estate terminology. Familiarity with title production software (e.g., ResWare, RamQuest, SoftPro) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and customer service skills.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.
