Your responsibilitiesInstallation, qualification, SAT, and commissioning of ficonTEC systems at customer sites worldwideTroubleshooting mechanical, electrical, optical, pneumatic, software, and process-related issues on automated assembly and test systemsSupport of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency service activitiesOptimization of automated processes in collaboration with customersTraining customers on machine operation, software, maintenance, and best practicesDocumentation of service activities, root cause findings, and corrective actions through service reports and internal systemsClose collaboration with engineering, software, applications, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issuesSupport of machine upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiativesAssistance with spare parts recommendations and identification of service and upgrade opportunities Participation in customer and project meetings as requiredInternational business travel as part of a globally active companyTravel throughout the United States, Canada, and occasionally internationallyYour ProfileCompleted degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, optics, physics technology (or comparable/similar courses of study)Relevant professional experience in a comparable position within a medium-sized manufacturing company is desirableExperience in using and applying a common programming languageYou impress with your communication skills and know how to strike a successful balance between the requirements of the organization and the expectations of our customers—both internally and externallyFor you, success is a team effort consisting of cooperation and partnership.You complement your independent, committed, and goal-oriented approach with a careful and conscientious work style.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 35%Strong written and verbal English skillsHands-on mentality We offerFlexible working hours Medical, dental and life insurance401k retirement savings planGenerous paid time offExciting, international clients from a wide range of industriesProfessional Onboarding program and individual supportOpportunities for cross-functional development in automation, applications, and project coordination
