The position focuses on real-time surveillance, artificial lift optimization, and production performance management across multiple assets. The role requires strong technical knowledge, decision-making ability, and collaboration with field operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.ResponsibilitiesProduction Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor and optimize production performance from a centralized control systemTrack production targets and adjust operations to meet performance goalsAnalyze real-time and historical data to improve production efficiencyIdentify and respond to abnormal operating conditionsArtificial Lift & Equipment OptimizationMonitor and optimize artificial lift systems (e.g., plunger lift, gas lift, rod pump, compression systems)Adjust operating parameters to maintain flow rates and equipment performanceSupport troubleshooting of well and facility issues to minimize downtimeMonitor surface equipment, facilities, and production systems for optimal operationOperational CoordinationCollaborate with field operations, engineering, and maintenance teamsGenerate work notifications and material requests as neededAssist in prioritizing operational and maintenance activitiesCoordinate well operations including unloading, chemical treatments, and production adjustmentsData Management & ReportingGenerate and validate daily production and recovery plansTrack production losses, downtime events, and performance metricsMaintain accurate operational documentation and system updatesSupport audits and ensure data integrity across systemsControl Room & Surveillance ActivitiesConduct real-time surveillance and alert managementManage alarms, forecasts, and operational modelsSupport centralized decision-making for multiple assetsProvide updates and operational guidance to stakeholdersFacilities & Process OversightMonitor and support optimization of production facilities and equipmentAssist with stabilization processes, trunk lines, and central facility operationsEnsure production systems meet performance and product specificationsHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE)Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport safe operating practices and risk mitigation effortsParticipate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement effortsContinuous Improvement & Cost ManagementIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costsSupport operational strategy and long-term performance goalsContribute to budget awareness and cost control initiativesSkills and QualificationsExperience5-7 years of experience in oil and gas operations, production, or control room environmentsExperience with production monitoring, artificial lift systems, or facility operationsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of production systems and artificial lift methodsExperience with real-time monitoring systems, control systems, or SCADA platformsAbility to analyze operational data and identify performance trendsKnowledge of well operations, production optimization, and equipment behaviorAnalytical & Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to diagnose operational issues and recommend solutionsStrong decision-making skills within defined operating parametersCapability to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneouslyCommunication & CollaborationStrong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teamsAbility to clearly convey operational updates, risks, and actionsExperience working in team-based operational environmentsSoft SkillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAdditional RequirementsFamiliarity with safety and regulatory standards in oil and gas operationsExperience with production reporting and tracking systemsAbility to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiativesJob DetailsPay: $38.76/hrSchedule: Monday-FridayLocation: Watford City, ND
