Center Assistant (High school senior or College student preferred)

Job Overview Overview Kumon of Lufkin Math and Reading after school learning center is looking for part-time assistants (Tuesday and Thursday 2pm-6pm) to assist in daily operational needs. The job is available for 2days/week with approximately 10 work hours. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The role of a center assistant may involve recording student work or working with young students, among other tasks. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with lead teachers to ensure that all students receive the attention and support they need to thrive. Applicants must have an understanding of math and reading subjects up to high school grades and good communication skills in English language to assist students.
