*Warehouse Associate* *Contract with Potential* *Pay:* $20.00/hour – Paid Weekly *Location:* North Chicago, IL 60064 – Onsite *Schedule Options* * *4-Day Schedule:* 10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM * *5-Day Schedule:* 10:00 AM–6:30 PM *Position Overview* We are seeking a dependable and safety-focusedWarehouse Associate to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position involves receiving, order picking, packing, dock processing, inventory handling, and working with large or heavy-weight stock. Candidates should have a strong work history, previous warehouse experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. *Responsibilities* * Perform warehouse operations on the receiving dock * Pick and pack customer orders accurately * Assist with receiving and dock processing * Count, sort, and record warehouse stock * Handle large and heavy-weight materials * Maintain accurate inventory and material records * Work within a quality-controlled material environment * Follow established warehouse procedures and safety requirements * Maintain attention to detail while meeting productivity expectations *Qualifications* * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required * 2+ years of previous work experience * Strong and consistent work history * Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred * 3PL experience is a plus * Forklift experience or certification is a plus * Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate initiative * Strong commitment to workplace safety Forklift / Equipment Experience – A Plus Experience with any of the following is helpful: * Cherry Pickers * Order Pickers * Pacer/Dock Stockers * Turret Trucks / working at heights * Stand-Up Forklifts *Important Forklift Policy:* All new hires must successfully complete the company's forklift training before operating warehouse equipment. Employees will not be permitted to operate forklifts or related equipment until company training is completed. This training process may take 6 months or longer, regardless of previous forklift experience or certification. Physical & Work Environment Requirements *Candidates must be comfortable:* * Lifting up to 50 lbs. on a frequent/constant basis * Standing and walking for extended periods * Frequently reaching and bending * Working in both hot and cold environments * Working in a loud warehouse environment * Working in a fast-paced distribution setting *Steel-toe shoes are required in the warehouse.* Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * Health insurance Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Ability to Commute: * North Chicago, IL 60064 (Required) Work Location: In person
