CT Tech Location: Grosse Pointe, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,782 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Imaging Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 0 years minimum required License: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology Certifications: ARRT - CT; BLS Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program; 1 year of relevant experience preferred Description: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. Follows the philosophy of patient and family-centered care at all times. Verifies patient identification and physician order. Provides procedural information and education to the patient and family prior to each exam. Acquires an accurate patient history and documents in the medical record. Performs CT and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods for patients’ physical ability and/or limitations. Places IVs as required for injection of contrast media. Proficiently operates CT imaging equipment and performs necessary quality control and quality assurance testing. Monitors patients during procedures to ensure patient safety. Ensures STAT requests are relayed to the radiologist in a timely manner. Ensures equipment is wiped down between patients and exam room is clean and properly stocked with linen and supplies. Accurately and efficiently uses hospital computer systems for verifying orders, viewing schedules, and sending information to PACS. Uses effective inter-departmental communication and collaborates with medical staff and support staff. Physical demands include the following: Pallet to waist lifting of up to 10 lbs occurs seldom. Waist to waist lifting of up to 35 lbs occurs occasionally. Waist to chest lifting occurs seldom. Waist to overhead lifting occurs seldom. Bilateral and unilateral carries occur seldom. Pushing and pulling force of up to 35 lbs occurs occasionally. Sitting occurs seldom while standing and walking occur frequently.
