Mechanical AssemblerOur client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Duncan, SCPay Range: Dependant on ExperienceShift: 1st (6:45am-3:15pm - 30 min unpaid lunch)What's the Job?Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints, bills of material, and documentation to plan machine building operations.Fit and assemble components according to specifications using proper tools and verify conformance of parts.Assemble, set-up, and operate machines to verify functionality and capabilities.Form and fasten pneumatic and hydraulic lines, fixtures, and attachments required for machine servicing.Install wiring, electrical components, and build panels to specifications, and debug assemblies and machines as needed.What's Needed?High School diploma or equivalent with additional mechanical coursework and at least 5 years of related mechanical assembly experience, or an Associate's Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.Ability to read and understand prints, schematics, and blueprints.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and scales.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Chance to develop and refine technical skills in assembly and machine operation.Supportive team culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.Workplace safety and a positive work environment.Potential for future career advancement within the organization.Upon completion of waiting period, associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
