Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance their shopping experience. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing customer questions or concerns. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds; bilingual abilities are a plus! Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, showcasing your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with retail math concepts to analyze sales performance and inventory management effectively.
