Job Summary and Qualifications The RN demonstrates independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, clinical and administrative policies. Float pool staff are expected to staff any unit within their area and meet core competencies for their designated area. This includes, but not limited to: ICU, Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, & Medical/Surgical Units. Float pool staff will be scheduled through the facility scheduler in accordance with our scheduling policies. Float staff are required to attend and/or complete mandatory inservices, annual competencies, Health Stream education courses and any other requirements as deemed necessary. What qualifications you will need: Active NH Registered Nurse license or Compact State Registered Nurse license Associate Degree in Nursing 1 or more years of critical care nursing experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Grow your career where your work truly matters—at Parkland Medical Center .
