Full time position; three 12hr shifts per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Technician will float (in a company car) between our Plainfield, Joliet and Shorewood locations to perform x-ray images as needed / ordered by providers. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment and techniques Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functioning Review and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value Collaborate with providers to determine the appropriate imaging techniques Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: Valid certification as an X-ray Technician IEMA Accreditation Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
