This is a strong opportunity for a CPA who wants a mix of technical accounting, team leadership, and process improvement in a multi-location environment.What You’ll OwnClose & Core AccountingLead the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financials are reliableReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesOversee key accounting areas including revenue recognition, leases, payroll, and cash activityInvestigate fluctuations and provide clear explanations to leadershipReporting & Business SupportDeliver insightful variance analysis and reporting to support decision-makingContribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts within assigned areasPrepare materials and presentations for internal stakeholdersProcess Improvement & ControlsIdentify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracyLeverage automation and system capabilities to streamline workflowsMaintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policiesEnsure adherence to GAAP and company standardsAudit & ComplianceSupport external audits, including preparation of schedules and audit requestsCoordinate with third-party providers to ensure timely tax filings and complianceTeam LeadershipManage, mentor, and develop accounting staffFoster a high-performance environment with clear expectations and ongoing coachingWhat They’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA license is required7+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilityStrong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reportingBackground in public accounting (audit) is a plusExperience in a multi-entity or multi-location environment preferredExposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite, Blackline, or similar toolsAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesEffective communicator who can partner across departments
