Detox is often the crucial first step on the road to recovery, and as a Therapeutic Assistant, you'll be at the heart of this transformational journey. Your role is significant because: Detox is the Foundation: Detoxification sets the stage for recovery. It's the process where healing truly begins, and our patients take their first steps towards reclaiming their lives. Compassion is Key: Your support and understanding during this vulnerable time can be a beacon of hope. You'll provide comfort and strength, helping patients navigate the initial challenges. Turning Points Happen Here: Detox is where stories of triumph over addiction are written. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll witness moments of courage and resilience that change lives forever. Some of the common job duties include but are not limited to: Conducting safety checks and following supervision level orders for the patients Performing searches to locate, document and destroy contraband following protocols. Assisting with the intake by conducting the urinalysis. Assisting with transporting patients to and from our facility for treatment Supportive conversations and interactions with patients Documentation of progress, behaviors, etc. in our electronic medical record system Communicating effectively with colleagues, management, patients, visitors, etc. A person must be at least 21 years old to drive an Innovo vehicle and have an acceptable driving record per company insurance guidelines. This position is staffed 24/7. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS NEEDED. Schedules are consistent week to week, unless an employee picks up overtime in addition to their regularly scheduled days.
